UPDATED 27 August - Here's what's left:

LAST CHANCE!!
  • Complete 34mm fork setup - $100
    • Fork tubes - need seals and wipers, has some minor pitting. Also has air fork conversion caps. Don't have the stock caps.
    • Complete triple clamps
    • Front brake / lines / master cylinder
    • Headlight ears
  • Front + Rear 48 spoke wheels - $150
    • Also from the same 1983. 16" drum rear. Includes the brake plate, rod, etc.
    • The wheels are just ugly, but serviceable. Part of what you're paying for here is the time it will take me to cut off the tires so they're more shippable. You don't want these tires.
I am open to offers, and shipping is at your arrangement, on your dime. Time is my most precious resource these days, so please don't waste either of ours. Would prefer to keep large assemblies together and not go piecemeal on everything then end up with a random upper triple, for example.

Any chance the head pipes are available? No need to mufflers if you could part em out... Very interested!

Nobody has sent me a PM to ask for anything in particular so it’s all up for grabs. Would prefer to sell things as-is because splitting up and so forth essentially creates more work for me to either dispose or re-list the leftovers.

Preference given to those who want full assemblies, etc.
 
I'm aware this post is somewhat old by now, however curious if there is anything left of the items you wanted to part out. Got a '75 XS650 - most is there but not all original parts, thus have to search high and low. Let me know if it's all gone or if anything left and what eventually are left.

Hi All - just catching up here! I've had a hell of a ride the last few months - major surgery, COVID nonsense, been laid off twice since February, etc.

The good news is the bike is up on the lift ready to start disassembly, so I can try to answer some questions here in the order they were received:

  • Exhaust? Still available - prefer not to box + ship all this, but if no one stateside wants it, all yours @londoncabby - I think @gggGary has first right of refusal here.
  • Rack? Also available.
  • Wheels? Might be getting rid of the rear one complete, as I'm likely going to do a disc swap using a Cognito hub. Front needs to stay, unless someone has a good condition front hub they'd sell for a reasonable price. I don't want a full wheel - just the hub. I'm lacing new wheels with 19" rims.
  • Front brakes? Yep. Still available.
Sorry for all the delays - I will get pictures of these specific items next time I'm at my shop.
