The late great Norton motorcycle

I notice your avatar, is that your Norton? How about some good photos so we can be envious?

G'day all,

Hopefully this Indian company can do to Norton what another Indian company did for Royal Enfield.

They as a manufacturing country seemed to have increased their qaulity control.

My RE Interceptor is comment to that statement, I cannot fault it and enjoy riding it immensely

Yes, but try buying a good Tucker 48 these days. Kiss a million goodbye on a bargain - some people love 'em because of the positives Max mentions. Pity Preston Tucker didn't live long enough to cash in.
My uncle was killed on a Commando here on the coast about 45 years ago. My father banned motorcycle ownership and I kept my first two bikes at my friend's house. Norton was one of those "verboten" words and, like everything forbidden, the name has held a life-long capture on my imagination. Yes, I'd like one but a British one I think. Just like this!
What a dilemma before a ride,
"Let me see, the Norton or the XS .............. the Norton or the XS ................the Norton or............?
