last thing i thought of was being scammed on here, had an ad looking for shock some one directed to contact Patrick Holmes,, scammer... sent his so called wifes paypal account.. now no return email but i did get her pic and info from facebook... so becareful
still looking for 14 in shocks
 
Was this Patrick Holmes a forum member? Did a search for him but nothing came up.
 
Checked your add in the Classifieds.........No relpy so they must have PM/Inboxed you.........Post up a screenshot of the PM and the person who replied so we can get this out there into the public domain.........This also needs to be bought to Travis's attention and he will ban them........

Don't just make a noise and let it lye .......

Yeah, I found the same thing. Put their name up here Dinkster or send me a PM if you don't want to make 'em public. I'll check 'em out and ban 'em if that's all they're here for. :boxing:
Like Skull say's... don't just let this go. It ain't good for the forum or you when this happens.
 
No.........Travis is the site admin and ggGary is the moderator..........these are the 2 people who make the decisions and no one, and i mean no one should be doing this behind the scean .............sorry Jim, where do you have the power to ban someone

Travis and Gary let me hang out and sweep the floors. Nothing going behind the scenes Doug. If it comes down to a judgment, I punt to Travis. If it's obvious someone is here to rip people off, then yes... Travis had duly deputized me and I can ban them.

Trav wanted to add it to my avatar, I told him I prefered he didn't 'cuz I I'd rather work with others on an equal footing as long as possible, only drag out the cuz I'm the mod thing as a last resort. Guess I'll never be a great ruler?
On another group I was cajoling a guy to respect the owners rules, he got so mad at me he told me I had been reported to the moderator. Another member gently explained who he'd been arguing with. LOL

'Zactly! I'd prefer being treated equal, not different. Besides, they only let me have 1 bullet.... and I had to promise I'd keep that in my shirt pocket.

To be clear to everyone reading this, Jim has access to the spam cleaner tool only, Gary has access to all moderator permissions and tools, and I'm the admin. The spam cleaner deletes spam posts and threads, and also bans the user in just a couple of clicks. It can only be used on accounts that meet certain new-user criteria to protect established accounts from being banned by anyone other than a moderator or admin. I moved the other thread to the classifieds section and stickied it as an announcement.
