I heard there's a move afoot to rename it Joe Biden Day...
I retired from the Air Force on April 1st 1994. It seemed fitting somehow.... 
Here, in the Republik of New York State, yesterday was trout season opening day. It was snowing sideways, and the wind-chill factor was in the teens. So much for spring. Needless to say, now that I'm retired (and have "all the time in the world"), I'll wait until the end of this "ice age".... 
It's April 2. I'm in Mississippi. North Mississippi. My screen is telling me it's 25F outside this morning.
Here in the oven that is the SW Desert, 90 degrees today, 95 degrees tomorrow, and a possible 100 degrees on Sunday. The first record high temps of the new year, last year we broke more heat related records than any year in history. Our air conditioner is already humming 24 hrs a day.
