It’s that time again!
For the big dog auction in Las Vegas. They have a really great lineup this year with something for everyone.
Early Japanese, British, European, two strokes, race bikes, rare bikes, it’s all there and fun to look at.

I've had it on my calendar for months !

Bob, I seem to remember that one was sold by Mecum about 10 or so years ago. I think it had 400-500 miles and sold for around 5K. Bike-urious listed one about 5-6 years ago also...not very many out there for sale though.
Here's a pic of mine with the Piranha fairing I fitted and had painted to match. Not on now though.

That is such a cool little bike, I can’t imagine that they made very many of them.

https://www.bike-urious.com/rare-project-1978-bultaco-streaker/

“The Bultaco Streaker was a beautiful little cafe racer that was only produced for 3 years. Rumors suggest that just 28 were imported into the US before the EPA changed emissions regulations in 1979, effectively rendering this bike (and most other two-stroke highway vehicles at the time) illegal.”

A Bultaco rep. stopped by the shop in '78 and said he thought that 1000 were produced and 500 were imported to the US. Our shop sold 2 lots of 5 over the course of several months. Employees (including me) scooped up 4. Hugh's Bultaco in NY (now Bultaco Classic) has a new one in a crate and one on display. After talking with him, it was determined that they came from our shop. I remember we sold 2 to a fellow in Florida, one set up and the other in a crate. Tim said he bought his from a guy in Florida. Small world. Wikipedia says 750 were made, so who really knows. The rep. said they were build for Senor Bulto's grandkid. They also built a 75cc one...not imported. We never got any '79s.
When I posted mine on CraigsList 2015, Bike-urious posted it on it's site. I had a buyer sitting in my office, but we couldn't reach a deal.

Man, that blue 1940 Crocker Big Twin is a beauty. The 1935 Crocker speedway is Billy Lane's bike. He said he was selling it to fund some more Son's of Speed race bikes. Lot's of cool bikes for sale. Is any of it going to be televised?

NBCSN was supposed to cover the bike auctions, but at this time they have only scheduled 20 minutes of it on wednesday 230 am

Tom, your link just wants me to open a picture... an auction pic. Got another link?
