I wasn’t surprised by the bikes that you expect to sell high, such as old Triumphs and such. Here are some things I found interesting from today’s results.
Guy works for years and spends who knows how much building this chopper and it sells for ,

The very next bike to cross the stage was a bone stock 70cc Honda that beat his price by $1500 :laugh2:

Really nicely restored to original Goldwing brought good money, maybe almost as the guy spent on it.

This old Nimbus was rough, but cool. They were made in Denmark and had an open air valve train. They remind me of a four cylinder inline Indian.

I saw a really cool custom built from a Nimbus once.

Jim already pointed out that little 350 four’s sky high price, that surprised me. Some other bikes I found interesting were bikes that were never imported to this country, several really nice 400cc sport bikes that were built for the red hot Japanese 400cc market of the 80’s. And V-twin 750 enduro repli racers inspired by the Paris to Dakar races. Penton dirt bikes did really well, especially their ISDT bikes ( anybody else a fan of the old ISDT races? ) I sure was!
Fun stuff! I’m looking forward to tomorrow! :geek:
