Chrome or Painted Front Fender

On a tracker, painted. Maybe even flat black, like Omar's suggest. To make it "disappear" visually. On a stock bike, Chrome.

On a casual observation the first thing that pops on the chrome fender bike is the painted tank, the fender disappearing with the front.

Is that a cooler on the oil filter cover? Never seen one.
For me, the painted front mudguard suits the bike better.

I beg to differ. A bike out on the road gets dirty enough WITH a fender. Some of the road grit doesn't come off the tire until it is near the top and then it blows into your face.
Been there.
In this case, I think the painted option is the most attractive.
Yes it is a Heiden Oil Filter instead of the screen job. This one takes a Honda oil filter, about $5 a filter.
Bike looks much better with the painted fender.

Fork brace+ a light/ short/narrow fibreglass or CF fender. Flat blackNeither. FORK BRACE. No fender. IMHO.
I think the painted fender looks killer on that bike, that bike has enough shiny on it that the painted fender offsets it nicely.
Painted, actually back in the late 70's when I did my original street tracker build there was a Euro model TX500 that had a painted plastic front, the shape of which complimented the tracker rear seat/fender. I bought one, turned it around and abbreviated the length, painted it to match and it looked great.

At first I thought it's gotta be chrome but after looking at the 2 pictures I think the fender painted to match the tank ties it all together
