Nice towns suggestions South Carolina

Poor Helen, I am sure there’s a lot of people loves her!

What about Greenville, Augusta or Columbia, anything interesting around here, these places are in my path to Charleston.

I have seen a few videos of pigeon forge and already wrote it off.
Good move, unless you like traffic. Columbia is good for history buff. I have a daughter living there. Greenville area probably has something besides good motorcycle roads. I've done a lot of riding around there. Augusta, not unless you want to visit the golf course. Dahlonega, Georgia is good, but might be off the path.

Now I like the look of Dahlonega. Just what I was looking for. I might try change my Airbnb bookings, Atlanta then Dahlonega then Gatlinburg then Asheville then southeast to the coast. Cheers for that town........

Franklin, NC is a small town which is mostly locals and those hiking the Appalachian Trail. One of my favorite breweries is there as well https://lazyhikerbrewing.com/. From there it's a beautiful drive to Highlands which unfortunately has a lot of touristas.

another nice town. Just the kinda place we are looking for. Not too big but enough for a day and a half. Perfect

The mountains and the coast are just stunning. Lots to catch in between, but mostly, we grow food and cotton there.

Thanks for you help guys, I think I have more than enough to see in 14 days now. With having no knowledge of the area I should have guessed to aim for the mountains and the coast.

Just hope this virus buggers off now and does not interrupt my trip.
