More of an up close pic of the long one. It's metal, can't bend it at all by hand. (Maybe if I seriously tried hard but definitely not easy). This is stuff I actually pulled out of the tank. Not sure what's in the oil didn't have a way to filter it without making an unbelievable mess. He lists what it could be, but I don't really know what exactly those parts would look like or mean.

- ignore my wife's fingernails had her hold if lol

Sorry but I'm slightly confussed - did these bits come out with the old engine oil or did you take them out from the fuel tank?

That's okay, it came out of the oil. I actually pulled it out of the drain plug, I saw it hanging out it of the hole, it didn't come out the full way on it's own so I pulled it w my fingers after the oil was drained. Not sure what is in the oil I drawined out tho

That sounds like it's a good issue lol just kidding. Where is that? Like what would I even look for I'm going to Google it too but you guys are way more helpful and explanatory than most of the things I find on Google

It looks to have a semi-flattened cross section. The drag clips are round spring steel. Those clips, plus other fiddly lil' parts, can be found around and behind the clutch. Nothing comes immediately to mind...

Think it'll run still? I rebuilt and cleaned the carbs, cleaned the entire advanced, rewired the entire bike, cleaned and derusted the gas tank and added all new gas, put an egg cup of mystery marvel into each spark plug hole, new capacitor, switched from points to electronic ignition, got new switched for headlight and kill switch, got new ignition key, and put a battery instead of capacitor back to the bike.... Think it'll run guys? Lol

This is a road almost everyone of us has walked . Done a deal that was not perfect.
Remember my tale about bikes that never ran.again
It is difficult to get everything right even if one has many years experience.
Having said that .. problems and challenges is a part of it buying or even get an old bike for free.
The oil in via spark plug holes without any dirt or so coming with it.
It can help loosening things up and getting some oil on cylinder walls.
Better for rings and bore.
If we are aiming at riding without taking it apart.
About an egg cup oil in each cylinder.
Compression is there is good. Still hope .Most bikes need carburetor service and the ignition
will wake up as it seems. Nothing strange.
The green stuff .might not have entered the cylinder if some luck
But if it has ..then i think it is better if it burns and can clear out after a while.
I think this one will run.

Let's see if your right!! Tonight will be the moment of truth lol. Wish me luck guys

OH MY GOD. hooked battery up and turned key and turned kill switch on and the battery HIT the frame somehow and it popped. Trying to figure out if it ruined the battery or ignition or what... Ugh!!!

There's no spark now when plugging in the battery. I'm thinking maybe just change out all fuses even tho it looks okay? I read mikexs ignition fries fast

Headlights turns on. Won't kick over at all. Thought the fuses were meant to prevent the damn ignition and coil from frying.. I think I'm gonna have to buy yet another coil and ignition.

How do I trouble shoot it? Fuses are fine. Only thing I can think of is to go buy a multimeter to try to test coil and ignition right?

I have a battery checker it. Is fully charged and hitting 12.6 volts. Headlight turns on, they're 100% was spark whenever I first hooked up the battery until it fell against the frame and sparked her to pop and now nothing when I plug in both terminals
