The Patience build.

Ok I just filled my basket again, the order was $147 and shipping was $63. Are you guys sure about this before I hit send? Lol

It was my experience. I think it comes FedEx from Japan and fast. Considering the carrier and the distance, even the $63 doesn't seem unreasonable. Here is the disclaimer: YMMV

Yes, my last order (in February) had like $83 in shipping charges. He refunded me $30. There was also a $15 discount on the order when I placed it for some reason. I got 7 items so that came to about $7.50 shipping each. Added to the low cost of each item, they still came out to be pretty good deals. For instance, I got some of his $20 BS34 slide/diaphragm assemblies. $27.50 is still a very good price for one of those things.

Double negatives befuddle me.... :sneaky:
Negative + Negative = Positive

I ordered from the Cruzin Image site only once. I was very impressed how inexpensive and fast the entire transaction was.

Carry a 3 lb box over to FedEx Office or UPS and see how much it will cost to move it even half way across the country. I expect it will be as much or more than that package from Cruzin Image in Japan!

Ok guys. Pulled the plug and ordered. Matsuo sent me a reply when I asked and told me the website doesn’t know it’s all the same order so it stacks up the shipping charges. He did say it would be less so let’s see how much of the $75 in shipping I get back.

Next I need to get pricing on seals, cables and rebuild kits for the M/C/ caliper. Order all my filters, tires, rubber and basically my consumables. I learned on the last build what I would need but when you forget one small item it’s a momentum killer and I need all my momentum! I also want to build an engine stand. The last couple of builds a furniture dolly worked fine until the 2x4 under the front falls out lol. I have some nice angle I scrounged for just such an occasion as this.

Ok guys of the $75 he refunded $43 so that’s not bad. Also it was taken care of and shipped very quickly. Compare that to me having to pay $18 to return a $24 part to Babbits.I know but it was the principle of the thing......

All my orders have arrived way faster than I thought orders from Japan would. Our postal system has gotten SO bad that parts from Japan arrive faster than domestic orders do, by quite a bit.

I’m not sure exactly how the system works, but most stuff comes FedEx from Japan and DHL from the EU. So yes, it’s fast.

Even the first build when I ordered from him the items came if I’m not mistaken, in about a week. I remember the set of rings was so inexpensive I wondered if I was only getting one side( seriously) so I doubled my order. If anyone is doing a pre ‘74 XS I have an extra set of piston rings :hump:

Ordered my tires today and looking at seal kits. Looking at my options. The paint should clean up to a nice patina but if I’m pulling that engine apart I want it to look like it did when it came from the factory.

Got my orders in and didn’t get much time this week to do anything. The order from Japan left Monday, arrived Thursday. That’s pretty amazing. Items from Revzilla showed Fri, shipped that same day. 6BE4BD52-95F5-4494-B666-E68825A60114.jpeg
