Immensely ! Thanks ! I have a ton of appreciation for endeavors like Morgan that make up what might be called the British cottage industry. Did you notice that it has an S&S sportster based engine. You can tell by the layout of the pushrod tubes (4 cams). Notice also that the valve covers appear to be one piece, not the sandwich design that has to be used in a motorcycle frame. But, 150 HP ? Really ?
 
Oops, my bad. Not Sportster based, it's an X-Wedge. Valve covers are correct. Con rods are side-by-side on the journal. 56 degree 'V'. Probably won't fit in your Harley.

That would account for the "M" on the rocker boxes. I think we're looking at a J.A. Prestwich engine, 30's vintage maybe.

nah, the JAP-engined moggies had JAP on their rocker boxes.. The M's on that vehicle's V-twin showed it was a Matchless engine.
