but not with an O-ring chain.

I've been using the stainless double wire clamps from Mikalor but they are getting harder to find. Some day I'll have to bite the bullet and go Chinese (I guess :()
I like the double wire cuz;
They hold well
The double helps a secure clamp 360 'round the tube.
The wire has no sharp edge that can cut the tubing
They are easy on and off near endless times.
They can be resized a bit smaller with two pair of needlenose pulling the ears apart.
Easy to get at the ears to remove, install them even when buried in the most inaccessable places.
Work great with low pressure fuel and vacuum applications.
Available in lots of sizes.
Make a good-bye! ping when they bounce off the floor on the way to an unexplored part of the garage floor under the nearest work bench.
Is the radius of a 16T to tight for an O-ring chain?

Quite a Range of Hondas!
The Rukus had a 150 cc transplant and was cruising with the big guys.

A GT750 showed up. Really nice original bike. I rode behind it for a while, reminiscing. But he was not using bean oil so I could not get to.the next level.

Really nice bikes! Those CBX’s were always so cool. They were pretty affordable for a while, but that all changed.
Every time I look at vintage motorcycles I think I would like to own, I start thinking about doing maintenance and the cost of rebuilding four or six carburetors and all those valves to adjust , and I keep returning to twins! :laugh2: The poor mans classic.

On the way home the CBX in the lead then me and then the water buffalo stopped to reconnoitre on the road side. Within a minute a car going the other way stopped and was going nuts about the brace of classic bikes all in one place.
I woulda basked in the attention, but one, that's not Canadian, eh and two, the bugs were getting mighty thick.
(besides, I think he was looking at the big six and the 750)

On WJL yesterday EVERY time I stopped, I got looks, questions and what year is that, then the I had one...
May stop riding it, I'm not that social. :lmao:
One stop was under a tree, side of a country road so I could see the phone map.
Guy comes out of a mobile home, same deal.

Looks like a nice evening to be out! Pretty country. It’s 8:15 pm here and still 108 degrees out!
After a couple weeks of hot n humid (gggGary put the house AC on!) we are in a spell of perfect weather :heart::bow2:, but reaching drought conditions, been a month since decent amount of rain, mebby Friday.
Need to fiddle w WJL carbs, would like to improve off idle response. Some of it may be inherent to first year BS38s

Not on a bike, but...

You guys might recall, my wife and I met on a motorcycle ride, but due to MS, she can no longer ride with me. Because of this, we have always had some sort of smaller convertible for our "rides." Until recently, the small convertible has always been her daily driver as well. Recently, however, I sold our cars (hers: '97 SL320, mine: '95 540i/6) and bought her a '98 E320 and me an '03 Miata.

The other day we used the Miata for one of our rides. It wasn't long (just an hour or so), but it was great!

Well shoot, Actually a Mazda Miata out performs a sidecar. Betcha that for sure.
Summer clothes, Sunglasses and a stereo too.
It's a wonderful thing to take your lady for a ride in. Kudos Wordman ! Good man..
I had one once upon a time. My legs are too long for it, but otherwise the top was down unless it was raining, winter or summer.

Well, I just put 50-odd miles on the FJ for no apparent reason, so there's that.

If the weather and the kid's schedule cooperate, I'm thinking of riding up to Grandson #1's place this weekend and check out the dirt bikes he got for his boys. They're 10 and 7, so he's starting them off right. That'll be a couple hundred miles.

I sense a sidecar in your future... :D

Have to have ability to turn on the A/C in case she gets hot. She has MS heat sensitivity. It's a bit like a car with a marginally sized radiator. Under most circumstances, she's fine, but if she gets a little too warm, she suddenly overheats. Then, she loses the ability to walk, will cry randomly. and it takes a long time for her to cool down.

Got that ride to my Grandson's place in. Took the scenic route going up, perfect weather, high 70's, wall-to-wall sunshine, just a touch of breeze.

Going through Bucksport I pulled up behind three bikes at a stop light with Texas plates on them. Spoke with Tail-end Charlie and they did indeed ride from Texas to Maine and were on their way back.

I got blisters on my ass just thinking about it...
