Another Oil Sump Repair

Not to be a Debbie Downer but I repaired mine with some tin and it just blew out the other end instead. Looks like metal fatigue of the brass screen.

Installed the Heiden tuning screen, it is much tougher! It is also a much coarser screen but all modern engines use a similar coarse screen before the oil pump with no problems.

I am happy with the new part.

No pics but my lastest upgrade is I machined and tapped out the front oil plug to fit a modern 12mm drain plug with a high strength magnet inside of the old and huge 27 mm plug. So now a quick dump of most of the oil takes 5 minutes with a 17mm socket and a modern 12mm crush washer.
