Also a ride to Kamikaze motors.. about a hour away. a cycle boneyard and museum..mostly Japanese machines. We attended last year.. about 30-40 bikes..hosted at the local cycle shop. Great breakfast cafe downtown. My buddy plans on haul'n his 68' Cl350 Honda... I hope to take my 75' Xs Police bike..but last week the siren packed up.... I'll get it ck'd this week.. if it's the control box.. I'm screwed.. don't have a spare. Say hi to Randy Baxter for me! I bought two Triumphs from him, he’s a great guy!

I wish I lived in your country I would be in heaven with all of those Hugh bike wreckers yards, you would have to drag me out of them :sneaky: my wife would forget who I am

T Rex NZ - I assume that New Zealand. When I was into modified cars I would have given my left nacker to be in your country. The wild stuff you guys were allowed to have on the streets was very different to what we can get away with. For example - my mate took his sons 68 mustang to a rego checking station and they knocked it back because the alternator bracket was chrome plated (supposed to be painted as it left the factory). I would like to live in USA for the prices they pay for 650's. I think a fair comparison would be $500 in America - $5000 in Aus.

Some states here have somewhat strict regs at least when it comes to emissions, most people save parts that they've changed that would alter that and put it back for inspection times and then right back to modded after they pass.
