Ooooohhhh….pretty!...and we're golden.
4 coats of silver, 4 coats of candy and 2 coats of clear. The last 2 coats of clear will go on after the stripes are on.

Notice that Jim is doing a couple of "extras" for me -- a pair of later year gauge buckets, a couple of the top trim pieces that go on the early gas caps, and a TY headlight shell, the small shell that accepts a headlight grill guard.
Well Bob... I'm guessin' you knew this day might come. Guy in Nashville saw your XS2 with the XS1 striping and just had to have it. A few days to cure and I'll stripe it along with Williams gold tank. Sorry buddy, yours wont be "the only one" much longer....

They shoulda been like that from the factory. Just such a clean, classic look. Way to go there Jim! That body line would look great with a 75 black star and gold/white stripe setup….
