Actually not sure if the problem is with the forum or something at my end.

Often, but not always, when I am finished reading a thread and click on the next on or a second page in a thread I get a circling arrow like it id loading the page but it stays there for a long time. However if I click on the back arrow in my browser "Chrome" and then the forward arrow the next page pops right up.

I have not seen this problem on any other forums or web pages so I tend to see it as a problem with the forum or some conflict between :Chrome" and the forum.

Yeah um with Firefox as the only currently available browser with enough market share to (maybe) survive and NOT sitting atop Google's chromium code, I think I'll stick with Firefox, and Duck, duck, go and pass on Brave.
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't spying on me."

I'll give that a try, just strange that the only place I see this in on xs650.com

Is it still happening? The site hasn't been playing well with some browser updates. I'm planning to update the site software in the next few weeks. I'll need some help with testing if any of you are interested.

Sure... I'll play. What could possibly go wrong....:cautious:
You gonna update Tech too?

Just officially requested with Travis to aid in the permanent deletion of my account.
I have no wishes to further share pics, parts, tech support, etc and need to drop this online habit of reading unenjoyable threads.

Sorry to hear that. Unenjoyable things are part of life. Not everyday is sunshine and roses.

Most browsers will now automatically delete cookies and trackers when they are closed down. If you have automatic updates this can also change the auto sign in as the update may reset cookies and trackers.

We have so much malware going around that our computers are constantly getting bombarded with trackers and third party cookies and i think some of these can also affect the signing in on sites.

Google chrome is one of the worst browsers because they them selves collect so much data from their users and are constantly under attack, security is compromised.

An example of the differences. I use firefox as a browser.I was having trouble getting on to a site i used to regularly visit with no problems, ( i was getting warning popups from firefox), I decided to see if using another browser would let me through so i fired up Google Chrome and logged onto the site. I instantly got hit with a Ransomware with a clock giving me a time limit to click on a link to pay a ransom. couldn't shut down chrome. If chrome had been my only browser then my computer would have been compromised.

Did manage to get out of it but it reiterated the reasons why i never used chrome. Never read anything good about chrome when compared to other browsers.........

Well I have not seen it happen since I started trying Brave, Maybe I'll try to remember to log on with Google Chrome for tommorrow and see it that happens again.

That's definitely a session cookie and browser problem and others are having that problem too including me. Fixing this is the main driving factor in deciding an update is needed. Hang in there.

I've noticed that when I'm logged into Chrome on my phone, I sometimes have problems with Chrome on my computer. That could be a coincidence though. If I switch browsers I can get in again.
