Looking for a ignition coil

Yes Sir
# 37
Nice piece but $ 40 + freight
Mr 5 T perhaps has a drawing ..sketch someone closer will hammer out it for you
Mr Pyles needs to break in ---test drive his new vise I would assume.

That is something good to have even if a hacksaw also can do it. This time
Get yourself a $10 HF 4.5" grinder

I don’t want to hijack this thread, but I have a 60 gal compressor and quite a few air tools. At issue is no electricity and too little space in my garage. I’m reluctant to spend money on a house I don’t intend to keep once I retire. My family and my wife’s family are far from here. So, that’s my story. Back to the regularly scheduled program.

I got this from Joker Machine. They responded immediately. They couldn't tell me what coil it was designed for as the designer has passed away. If the measurements are in millimeters I'm pretty sure it's correct for a Accel 140403. Dyna is listed as 102 mm.

Maybe I was wrong again
Mr 5 T s fastener of sheet metal ..is much simpler to manufacture and the
joker Machine drawing looks monumentally overdimensioned

Unless there is a need for cooling heat transfer of the coil I remember Boyer Bransden have that

https://www.baxtercycle.com/product/boyer-bransden-heatsink-for-dual-lead-coil-uk-made/
note the brass heat transferring 2 parts

So it can depend on what coil . . If it needs tight fit and a bushing in the Mounting holes
the one in post # 27 have rather large exit post
Can transfer heat that way ..
Also the one on the picture is different from the one on the drawing

Hacksawing out the one in the drawing in steel might be to much.

Yes, I don't think you need a coil mount that heavy. As I mentioned, I make mine out of like 16 ga. sheet metal and they've held up fine for many, many years. A coil isn't that heavy.
