Does anyone know what shocks these are? They came off. 1973 TX650. The bushings are not in very good shape.

I had this for 50K miles. I Put some koni's on at 25 k but spec'd too stiff springs. Those koni's might have been great but my spring selection sucked. Granted, the bike was a killer in the southern California mountain twisties but it rode like a dump truck to and from the mountains. My fault entirely.

Those are great bikes. My XS11 Special is set up for twisted roads and smooth Georgia pavement. It’s pretty awful on these washboard Mississippi roads. It’s set up for 35 mm laden sag and two-up. Add to that I’ve lost a bunch of weight. So, dump truck describes it.

Bought this one brand-new and sold it several years ago with 89k mi. and Koni 7610's on it. Still runs and looks good (it went to a good home),. Wonderful bikes! The 900's were even better.

Great highway bike. Just enough foreward lean with those bars that 70mph or so held you up with no pressure on your arms or wrists. I traveled lighter, a tankbag with a small sleeping bag on the tank infant of me and a small duffle on the seat behind me.
