Does anyone know of a brand of tool that marks the size of the sockets In a contrast that is readable for someone with bad vision? I remember Craftsman maybe or some other affordable brand used to make a line of socket sets that were maybe black with a gold numbering or some format similar to that. I'm spending most of my free time searching for the correct size socket. I wear glasses and have 3 extra lights pointed on my work area. Please help me

Snap On Tools have well engraved markings and are superb quality with lifetime guarantee. Not cheap however! I also recommend Halfords Advanced Pro Quality tools in the UK, also with lifetime guarantee.

I tend to put a bit of gorilla tape on the 10, 12, and 14mm sockets. cuz those are high use. With those easy to spot/feel the rest are kind of easy also.
For post 1975 Japanese products keep 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 on a separate socket holder. cuz those sizes are part of the JIS specs. (Japanese industrial standard)

Here in Europe sockets with color is available if that would help
I suppose available in the US also

If the XS650 is what you're working on, you don't need full sets of anything. The OE tool kit identifies the required sizes. You can easily set up a vintage Yamaha tool box to ease your pain.

I've noticed that. Especially a 17mm in my situation removes 90% of the required bolts to pull the engine ect

I've been eyeing a street or road glide for years. Maybe even an older Goldwing or the equivalent. I really liked the new Yamaha tourer they came out with a few years back, but when I saw a price tag of 30k+ I knew it wasn't for me until I win the lottery.
