I went across that bridge in a car a few decades ago on my way to visit relatives in Minn. Not sure what I would have done if I had seen a B47 coming from the right. Probably need to stop and change the tighty whites as soon as I got to solid ground!

It would be a good time to quote Jeremy Clarkson of "Top Gear", "Some poop came out".

I have one of that type jacket and it is very good ..
Bought it the same day the twin towers was hit not knowing it had happened at the purchase
It is a very good jacket . Mine is of very thick and heavy leather . there is cuffs at the arms making it airtight and at the waist.
If you take care of it with leather grease it withstands water .
It has big pockets for tools and such .
Might not win a fashion contest ,But for the hobby and Motorcycle / Car related activities
enthusiasts ..I think you could check it out .. I believe you will like it.
Mine has detachable fake fur lining and on the collar.
I have other jackets for MC Riding But this would work for that also
Wont wear out ..can take water and dirt ..which can happen checking out machinery.

If you can get past the slightly pedantic narration, there is some interesting stuff in this video about the British versions of the Browning Model 40 machine gun as used in the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

I try to drink coffee every morning at Billard airport in Topeka. There`s one of these based there. Cool to watch it take off and spray the corn fields that are on the airport grounds.

Cool. but I miss the old radial powered crop dusters. I think they were called Agri-Cats.

There are some great restoration photos and videos out there on Mossies. I especially like the way they formed the plywood for the fuselage.
Hi 46th,
seems that sometime in 1942 an RAF liason officer landed his Mossie at a recently established US bomber base is Southern England just to make sure the "Yanks" were doing OK.
Brit asks what are these aircraft?
they are B-17s crew of 11, mostly made of aluminum, they'll 2 tons of bombs to Germany at 200mph, what's that thing you flew in here?
That's a DeHavilland Mosquito, crew of 2, mostly made out of plywood, it'll carry 2 tons of bombs to Germany at 400mph.
Well, get it off my runway before my boys see it, because they'll all want one.

Every time I see film or photos of the cliffs of Dover I get goosebumps thinking of our allied pilots returning home from their missions. God bless all those who did their part in that horrible war.

I had a flight to Australia on an A380 some years ago - it really is quite amazing.

There was sufficient room in front of my recliner chair (even when I was stretched out) that the FA could walk between my feet and the back of the seat in front of me..sort of absurd really.

Hope he doesn't mind the loss of hearing he will have if he keeps running that engine without any hearing protection!
It is strange that he is still alive He dismounted a Honda Fireblade at the Isle of Man TT hitting a false Neutral in the Gearbox
sliding on the backside . not hitting the curb :Maybe one of his better decisions to bail out... the Box was not ready developed as Mc Guinness later learned the hard way.

This engine start does not look stellar either the propeller force is at the center of the propeller and the land Anchor is low and weak
not knowing the weight and so or the propeller force. I can se the propeller pull it forward bending the land anchors and flip forward.
