I’m looking to buy a set of carb and air box rubber connectors for my GT750 Suzuki. Cruzinimage has these parts available at a good price. Any intel on the quality of the rubber bits they sell? Thought someone here may have purchased similar rubber items from them before. Thx

I've had good luck with Cruiz... They're a Japanese outfit. Read on their website before that their parts were made in Japan... which is much better quality than brandX. Don't know it that's still true.
If it were me I'd give 'em a shot.

Worth buying because their parts are usually very good and they are cheap enough that if they weren't then not so much of a loss.

Cant help on experience but they have got things wrong at times.

2M bought a set of their floats and they weren't good quality, Did a big wright up and tried to fix, unsucessfully. That was a few years ago so it may have been corrected by now.

Their GS650 Big bore 740 kits are suspect. The piston crown is different to the GS650 pistons, (a copy of the GS750 pistons), and they hit the head according to a couple of people who have bought them. Still advertised on their site so ???? On the GS Resources site that is about the only negative i have come across from Cruzinimage for the GS series.

Not trying to put you off, just that they have had an issue or 2. but i wouldn't hesitate to buy from them if i haven't heard a negative about the part i was looking at.

Just registered with them and started to place an order. Parts prices were good but shipping costs looked disproportionately high.

Voice in the back of my head sez they adjust shipping down to actual cost when they send it... 'course that might just be dementia.... :sneaky:

Could be but $55 for six rubber donuts seemed high. I’ll eventually order them anyway. Lol.

Send 'em a email? I could be out to lunch but I swear they've adjusted my shipping.... anyone?

Yes, that's what happened in my experience, but we aren't in Canada. Still, I believe the results will be the same.
Yep, they always refund me part of the initial shipping charge. I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from them and always had good luck with it. It shows up shockingly fast from Japan.

If I remember right they would have worked ok but something was crooked, which 2M didn't like personally. They didn't leak or anything like that.

Also some of the measurements differed and the floats were narrower.........as i recall, without looking up the post

Steve and I were just talking about that thread a few minutes ago. After some adjustments the floats were usable but not right.
Team Junk, I'm in need of a set of BS38 floats and am about to order them from Cruizinimage... you say the floats are usable but not right. What is not right?

As a second question to all you Cruizinimage customers, I too have found that the quoted shipping costs are very high. How/when does the shipping charge adjustment get made, and when it does, is the adjusted charge reasonable?

Re. pistons hitting heads, I don't see this as a "problem" with Cruzinimage. Anybody who buys aftermarket top end parts, even repop parts, had better know beforehand how to adjust deck height. This is true even if you're installing top quality pistons like JE and Venolia. If there's a problem with that, the problem is that the buyer doesn't fit the job.

Below the first link is the Float review done by 2M on the Cruzinimage 71-79 BS38 floats............... done 4 years ago

Thing to take into consideration is this was done 4 years ago and there is no way to tell (cruzinimage) still sell bad floats ...........unless

.Was the bad floats were just a one off in a batch, or the whole batch was bad???................have they since got another batch and the quality is better???...............These questions cannot be answered by a 4 year old thread and only by some one buying a set and doing another comparison

This thread is on the quailty of the pistons and is ongoing from 2013 to 2017 and the last comment, in another sister thread linked in here, 2021
