As I said rear wheel is from xs750 shaft drive, converted to chain via kawasaki kz650 cushion drive and sprocket carrier....some bushing is needed but no big job, amd I am pleased with result...Law does not allow such modification, but I keep the original for MOT....Planning to make big brake 320 mm disk and yamaha calliper conversion, but after MOT .

gl1000 1975, gsx1100s 1984 near the end of resto (not for sale , my illness) and gpz1100b2 as a daily ride (disassembled and restomoded with fzr1000 wheels and front fork and blu spot callipers, underbraced rear arm)...In the meanwhile, few cb750 four k0, four rd350, 1971, 72, 73, 74 , cb750k police 1983.....no time to make, fix and ride my own bikes.....

last year mild restoration (usually make a fuul resto) gsx750e 1983....

Would be interested to hear about your Experiences of those early eighties Suzukis
A couple of years ago they were dirt cheap here but did not have a good reputation as to quality.
What would be items to look out for weak points and is there parts available.
Have seen wobbling on one

Welcome. I'm partial to the GPz's myself.
I looked at doing the XS750 18" swap but determined it was easier to adapt the XS500 rear wheel.

The xs500 wheel does not have a rubber dumped sprocket....and I already have a pair of xs750 wheels from a previous project,, and a damaged rear wheel from kz650....rationalization and recycling

suzuki gsx1100e is the bulletproof engine (katana 1100 but bigger alternator rotor), and gsx750 hade almost identical engine casting (the frame has a minor difference in lower engine mounts) but plain instead of a roller crankshaft...16v head with twin swirl combustion chamber is later on gsxr series....even the brakes are not so bad...but rear dumpers are crap.
