Just out of curiosity - Airplane Guys

I was really hoping this was some sick bastard's game footage, but it's available from more than one position by members of the public videoing it.
What a shit thing.

Reports are that it was a P-63, not a P-51.
No reports yet on survivors but it doesn't look good does it....

If you have an interest , in a very clearly explained analysis of what happened in the mid air crash of the two vintage war planes at the Dallas air show. This video is a presentation by a former commander and flight leader of the Air Forces Thunderbirds. He explains that in an air show, different planes have very clearly defined and strictly enforced flight paths, he says it looks like the P-63 swung wide on its approach to the airfield and drifted into the lane that was reserved for the bombers, he said it appeared as though the pilot realized his error and was banking harder in an effort to correct course. In his banked over position the bomber was in a blind spot, underneath his wings and the belly of his plane.

Wow, well spotted, Jim. I'd been all over it and missed that - too distracted by all the pretty guages.
I had a feeling you'd know it anyhow.

"bout an hour and a half until the rollout of the Air Forces newest strategic bomber... the B-21 Raider.

I thought they used to be kinda secretive about those things. Now they roll them out like the Detroit auto show! 😄
