XS650 Craigslist postings depository

Well the guy called me (not a full time FBer just like me)
I'll go get it Friday morning
I'm applying for the Mother Teresa award for saving 650's (never mind there are others ahead of me)
I might even make a buck if I decide to sell it later  (beats doing crack cocaine I guess)

I can guarantee I have given up being a mechanic
I've setup a time to get it to a real mechanic
I'll just stick to non mechanical duties
The tank has internal surface rust
I can handle those things
Do no harm !!!

Non Running 1976 Yamaha 650 - $1,200 (Hartford)

condition: salvage
make / manufacturer: Yamaha
model name / number: 650
1976 Yamaha 650 with spoked rims. Non running because of sitting. She turns over and when she last ran, she ran very well. Too much power, too squirrelly for me. Sat outside for a few years and then has been in my shed since 2002, low miles.

Includes Vetter fairing which was not original to it and if you climb the ladder to get 'em out of my garage rafters you can have the matching hardshells. I should also have the original headlight fixture. I have not transferred the title to my name yet, haha long time ago, but already filled it out so need to do so if you want a valid title. Money is tight so I would need a deposit of $200 to cover the cost ($185+) of the title transfer. Can have it for $1000 if you don't care about the title.

Includes original owner's manual.

You are welcome to store it in my shed til spring.

Does it cost $185+ to transfer title in Wis ??
I've never paid that kind of money in MN
Maybe $40 ?
