I can't wait for Phil to build a Harley street tracker :sneaky:
I built this Sportster in 1996. I don`t think I ever heard it called a street tracker back then. It had a 1200 kit, Buell thunderstorm heads, screaming eagle drop in cams, S&S lightweight flywheel, 44mm Mikuni and Supertrapp pipes. It actually ran pretty good back then. I sold it in 2005 with 144 mi on it.:shootme:

Man you build nice stuff!

All of the other big Yamahas had 2nd gear issues for a time. Not the XS650.
It was particularly evident in the FJ1100 and 1200. I had one, and after the second gear problem manifested itself I was very sad to sell it because some of the parts necessary for the engine rebuild were unavailable.

Pinstriping and paint by the one and only Lenny Smith:

...but don't look for it on the road, as one of the subsequent owners killed himself on it.

Ad's a bit inconsistent with itself;
This 75 sx 650 was saved from storage. It was someone's project or parts bike. If you're doing a bobber it might work for you. There was no title or keys. Frame and tank look good. Rear wheel has rust front is 19" aluminum wheel. What you see is what you get. If interested text me three 6 one 6fourfive four91two. I'm in Texas 77904

There about 1/2 hr away from here in at least a foot of snow so he might be willing to come down a bit on what he thought they were worth :laugh:
It’s now worth $100. Maybe less. Minnesota has more classic bikes than any place in the world.
