Oh, that brought back memories, particularly the sound. I missed riding the old Brit bikes. I don't know what he was on about 'planning', Planning what, you just get on, and ride the thing. Riding Brit bikes was enjoyable, zipping around corners in particular. I never got that sort of enjoyment from riding Japanese bikes!
Really enjoyed the video. Just two points I'll mention, firstly, he was riding it wrong, all that knee out and hanging off might be appropriate on a modern sportsbike but just looks ridiculous on a classic Triumph IMO. Keep in shape with the bike and the bike keeps in shape with the undulations of the road.
Second, he kept on about the rubbish front brake. Granted, the brake on the 1966 Bonnie looks different from the TLS brake on my 1970 TR6, which I think was a later and superior brake. Whatever, I grew to trust that brake once I came to understand how different it feels from a hydraulic disc. I called it fear assistance. Normal riding, you pull the brake with four-finger authority and the bike slows down. Not dramatically, but it slows down and stops. But when you really need to stop, apply some muscle and the bike stops sooner that you expect.
Did I do the right thing selling my TR6? I'll probably still be asking that question when they nail the lid down. But if I hadn't sold it, I wouldn't have ended up with an XS650. Now that's a different kettle of fish.

That's a great little song @willis, been aware of the song for decades but never actually heard it played before, seems the tune I've been running in me head not quite right.
Surely everybody sings, out loud or at least in their head, riding a motorbike? The engine provides harmonics for most any tune.
