Yes, I bought them. I have about 25K miles on them now! They work fine, except, the indicator needles fell off of both. The speedo needle fell off in less than a year, so Mikes gave me another, np. However, the tach needle fell off after about a year and a 1/2, and they wouldn't replace it. I then proceeded to take the tach apart, carefully, and glued the needle back on. I also fixed the speedo, so now I have a spare.
The Mikes tach has both the neutral light and a high beam indicator. I use the blue hi-beam light for the blinkers since 70-73 owners have the blinker indicator on top of the headlight shell. I also installed LED bulbs in them.
Since I had them apart and they both have just a flat black finish, I then decided to make them look like the XS2 originals. With some trimming and some spacers and alot of wangling with the trip odometer knob, I was successful. Zoom in on the knob in the missing front end pict. It's from an old lamp.
