Farewell to a dear friend (grizld1)

" IMO there's nothing worse than shills and mouthy rookies."
I never met Dick but me being a rookie I would always laugh at his semi stern warning to like look it up
And then he would explain it
The man would suffer the fools, he just at first would try and get you to be a tad more motivated :)
Blue sky's from now on Dick

I know that I shall meet my fate
Somewhere among the clouds above;
Those that I fight I do not hate,
Those that I guard I do not love;
My country is Kiltartan Cross,
My countrymen Kiltartan’s poor,
No likely end could bring them loss
Or leave them happier than before.
Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public men, nor cheering crowds,
A lonely impulse of delight
Drove to this tumult in the clouds;
I balanced all, brought all to mind,
The years to come seemed waste of breath,
A waste of breath the years behind
In balance with this life, this death.

Dick rolled his own. :)

Good to hear YOU are still kicking carbon!
What have you been up to?
Good morning Gary my mother got sick 6 and a quarter years ago and she ended up with severe dementia so I've been her caregiver ever since. So there's been no time for riding motorcycles or not much of anything but taking care of her.

Sorry to hear that. Went through it with my mom too.

Carbon, good to hear from you. I've wondered where you slipped away to. You were a prime member when I came here like 12 years ago. Hope to see you around a bit more.

I'm truly lost for words here, Dick was a good friend of mine and our last conversation was about porting and his upcoming surgery. Rest in Peace
Dick, you brought a wealth of knowledge to this forum and I will truly miss BSing with you.
