I have one that I purchased for my 1971 XS1B as a stop-gap measure and will part with it as soon as the correct cover that I just purchased on eBay arrives, which is supposed to be on February 2nd. Does this work for you?

I don't think the early covers are the same as later years though
You are correct. The cover I have is a later cover that is correct for you. I was going to modify it to fit.
