As always lots of interesting and rare motorcycles will be crossing the blocks. There are some very nice collections going up for bid. Be sure to check out the Mike Wolf “as found ” collection, Mike Wolf of American Pickers TV show fame has been collecting old , rare motorcycles for decades , he keeps them in original unrestored, mostly non running condition , and he says it’s time to pass them on. ( He is coincidently going through a costly divorce right now ).

I'd guess his notoriety will help him get top dollar. Maybe not Jay Leno dollars.... but pretty good anyway.
Your probably right Jim. I always thought it was a toss up between American Pickers and Storage Wars for the worst fiction shit show on TV.:poo:

wow thats a amazing collection ,here in oz we can only drool as collections and auctions like this just doesnt happen here because of a lot smaller population , will be intresting to see the prices

I think I saw a Honda XR75 go for $8000 $9075 (Mecum) and a 1908 HD go for $850,000 $935,000!:yikes:

I am starting to think more and more old motorcycles/cars is a great way to launder money. *much like the art world*

I’ve heard of people doing it on eBay with a large amount of success.

It makes it ca $ 30 k average per bike if i see it right -- 63 of them.
Fine bikes can you see any price Notably higher than average
There was a collector in Fl. that paid about 50% above average for a 356 Porsche that was owned by Jerry Seinfeld. The car was in our shop and it was a nice car, but 50% more because a celebrity owned it? Nothing against Mike Wolfe, but 10 years from now it will be, "Who's Mike Wolfe". Celebrity vehicles generally don't hold up in value.
