Sold / Found / Inactive - 1972 Spedo Needed

I thought these came off a '72 but in looking at them I might be wrong.

These are the two XS650's I had a long while back and stripped down. I'll look through my parts bins to see if I still have the gauges with the chrome housings.

What does a '72 speedo look like?

gauges in first pics are 76

I was repairing another 72 spedo and when putting together I broke the glass. Does anyone have just the glass for a 72?
Bill

I know 72 and 73 are the same.
I have a 1972 speedometer that was on my 1971 when I bought it. The two years are slightly different. Cosmetically it's in very good condition. I used it for 1,325 miles and then lucked out and found a correct NOS speedo and replaced the 1972 version. It bounces some around 60mph. I don't know if it will smooth out or not. Let me know if you are still in the market.

It might need some lube. I've always used Dry-Slide because it contains grafite and won't get thick during the winter. Put this in your cables and they will last 3 times longer. No kidding. I've been using it for about 60 years. This stuff is miraculous.
