I just pulled in the driveway with this pristine machine in the back of my truck, 10 hour round trip to pick it up. I am pretty sure an oil change a good coat of wax should be about all that is needed. It all started when I had some parts left over from the Bobber build, carb kits, gaskets so forth, so why not do another one. Price was right, it has compression and a title, ok I have ran out of the good things to say. It is a 1979 with 18k on the clock and it has not ran in at least 20 years. It came with the Yamaha factory fairing and period Shoei bags, so the original owner must have been older than me, poor bastard. The wiring looks like Ray Charles did it with his feet and when I hook a battery up via jumpers I do have an neutral light, one turn signal and an anemic horn, but no lights what so ever. The starter will engage if you jump the solenoid so there is some additional good news. What can I say, I am a gluten for punishment and love a challenge, but this one should keep me busy for a really long long time. I was going to throw up a picture in the Consensus Thread, but I really didn't want to show all those beautiful bikes up that are featured.

Looks like a good place to start. I think the fairing and bags are kinda' cool. Congrats!
