UK Off the Shelf Street Trackers

While on a 2stroke website I stumbled upon this guy who is in the UK making street trackers. He is doing it in a serious way and they look pretty good.

Yes, I've watched many of his videos on youtube where he's riding them through the English countryside.

He's definitely got the look and the stance nailed on them. 👍

For use on our roads I would like a bit more travel in the suspension but they were not built for NZ roads. The whole package is pretty impressive I think.

SUMMERBUND Have been doing this for some time.
He brings over containers of assorted bikes from the USA; and Trackers the XS650's.
I think they sell for £7 - £10k depending on spec.

Very interesting! Never heard of summerbud before but those trackers just make you want to ride 'em.

Had a very quick look on that internet and saw a mention of a Summerbud tracker at 8500 which ties in with that.

All that talk about keepin it 70s and it’s got the most 90s/00s lookin exhaust.

Beyond that they look killer… Well and the cheap eBay switches and speedo.

He must be gettin top dollar cause it sounds like he’s importing a ton of bikes.

I`m Impressed.:yikes: Impressed that he can get $8500 out of a $3500 bolt on bitch. I guess when your in business to make money you have to cut corners somewhere.

I'm just impressed that for the most part he's nailed the stance and the look.

Not all of what he's done is my cup of tea...but its far closer than some of what a lot of folks call a "tracker" (that have obviously never been to a real flat track race in their life 😆 ).

You are right @halfmile; no fab work or real customisation, lt's all bolt on stuff at a premium price.
But there are people that do not have the skills or want to do it our way of course.
Most of our bikes are 'built not bought' so to speak; some people just like to buy to ride.
Ain't nowt wrong with that, and it keeps some XS650's from the grave. :bike:

Exactly what I was trying to say. ;)

Has anyone dealt with Summerbud on Ebay?

I didnt know he did eBay?

I just saw a facebook post of a fellow that bought a beautiful yellow & speedblocked one the other day, was up to #48 on the plate or something to that effect.

He numbers each one as he builds it...if he's up that far already, I'm starting realize where all the shouldered rims are going! Thank goodness I've stockpiled a few of my own over the years. 😆

They are nice looking. They are definitely selling for more outside of USA.
