I have been looking at how to tear down a rear master cylinder apart? Found a number on the front master. I have the snap ring out but then how to get the clip out.

The bore there is often corroded, gunked up pretty good. Some rolled up wet n dry sand paper with mineral spirits to clean up a bit before trying to force the piston out?
I wanted the master cylinder not the calibers. Thanks.
