The tires are Dunlop K70s. The bike will be a generic 60s-70s vertical twin, if that makes sense? "Painting tins, no really" (@Jim) is doing a '70s candy apple red with white pinstripes (think cross between Norton Commando and 78 XS feel). It is an 81 Special with 18 rear/ 19 front. Fenders wiĺ be/are painted and pinstriped. Except for VMs and Commando muffs there are no upgrades. Suspension is Konis in back and a fork with Minton mods. The seats were discounted 2-3 months ago to $160-$170 if I recall correctly but there is a pricey $45-$65 shipping fee.
This seat seams to be a bolt on to standard but I have made mods to my Special to make it fit. Good luck with your endeavors. Cheers

Yes. The 1980 Special II uses the same seat as the ‘78 & ‘79 Special. NOT the 1980 Special.
