When I worked at Brumos Motorcars, we were a Porsche & M-B dealer. M-B made a number of replicas of that car in 1986 to commemorate it's 100th birthday. We were fortunate enough to aquire one of them. It ran on a "witches brew" thats main ingredient was naptha, IIRC.

There's not much out there about this bike. Or I didn't FIND much anyways.
The most disappointing thing about that is it was a post-WW2 plunder design lifted from the Germans.
For years I honestly thought it was purely British.

OCC bikes are notorious for being all show, same as Boyd Coddington's hot rods. It's like Daytona Bike Week, lots of pee-pee measuring. "You spent 75k to have that bike built?, BFD, I spent100k!
They seem to be holding around that price for the early ones. Really low mileage and looks in great shape.
Not my cup of tea, but what imagination and craftsmanship. (it's still O.K. to say craftsMAN, right?)
