Not much left to do now. Seat is at the upholserers at the moment, I was going to cover the seat myself, but my Singer treadle isn't working at the moment. Once the seat is on, it's just a matter of fitting tyres. I can't do that myself, so, that'll be farmed out as well. Being a custom build, I guess it'll never really be finished, I've already redone a few jobs I did a while back.

Not really a Yamaha XS650 anymore though, I've modified so many things. So far: Custom, homemade tail light, side panels, battery carrier, seat, headlight brackets, front brake line junction, risers, twin harness, longer manifolds, pancake filters, riight side oil inlet cover, kick starter bung, fuel distributor, catch can, reed valve engine breather, stator mount, ally brake anchor, stainless rear brake components, ally engine brackets, exhaust pipes, mufflers, single points cam, spin on oil filter base, cooler mount. Along with detabbed forks, drag bars, single points conversion, PMA conversion, VM34 conversion, spin on oil filter, oil cooler, modified right engine cover, rebuilt engine, polished wheels, stainless spokes, plus lots of other little bits and pieces I've forgotten about.

The XS650 purists would be horrified.

I think it’s looking great @toglhot
especially like the black pipes.
