Fuzzy dice, Marilyn and James Dean cutouts, and fake drive in restaurant trays are the work of Satan himself!

With the arrival of Covid, we (in Canada) saw hugely inflated prices for motorcycles, recreational vehicles, cars and trucks. I’ve been watching the local bike market for a number of reasons and it appears prices are coming down a bit. Wondering what’s happening Stateside? If Bring a Trailer is an indicator, prices are still high south of the border.

It's going both ways?
Prices at the specialist auction sites are high and going up.
But If I had a secret warehouse that Allison didn't know about I'd prolly be buying more bikes this month, cuz there's some "deals" out there on CL and FB.
Maybe the wrench twister's investment in time is finally being recognized. Not to mention the parts and services costs of restoration work are climbing rapidly.
I suspect the big venue prices are being driven by collectors that have little or no connection with motorcycle riding. They are chasing investment gains.
Another factor often talked about is the lack of young bucks with mechanical inclination. If it's not a runner, fewer and fewer can, or are willing to learn how to fix "need a little love" bikes.
