Engine identification

This is my first dive into engines and I would like to identify what I have, I bought it as a 1981 bobber project, I can't seem to find anything that matches though. Cheers for the help

Engine number looks like European 75-76 range 447.

It may say 447 on the cases but the internal piston/conrod is 553

Thank you, I'm stripping down the bottom end this weekend so I will let you know, I've taken the top end and cylinders off already but so far can't see any markings on the Conrods.

It appears to have a type D cam chain adjuster. In the States, that would be a '76-'78.
