Garden Centre The Last Throw Of The Dice?

I don’t plant anything that doesn’t produce food.

Weeds are the bane of my existence. A couple days of fog and my back field goes from sand to 3-4ft weeds over night.

I gave up on my riding mower and recently purchased a DR field mower and trimmer (giant weed whacker) to tow behind a quad. Got em used for a smokin deal. worth every penny.

All out veggies we plant in raised beds to keep the moles, voles, and gophers from eating everything. The orchard area with all the fruit trees we keep covered with “forest floor” to help control the weeds.

I do spray our gravel driveway with weed killer if it gets outta hand but usually a few passes with the landscape rake does a good enough job. If I do spray I try to keep it away from all the food.

Flowers are finally starting to bloom. Been a cold, wet Spring. Good for grass and Clematis, not so much for most other stuff I grow.

BTW, the "mystery plant" I put where my Montauk Daisy was is a "Lily Tree". Friend of mine had given it to me, no idea what it's going to look like when (if...) it blooms, but in general, I like lilies, so I'll probably be happy.

I'd rather have weeds than round up around my house.
I used some weed and feed on the lawn ONCE, could smell the chemicals for weeks after, never again.
Same with round up.
Not worth it.
We FINALLY got some rain yesterday. Had been so dry the ROCKS went dormant.
Hadn't mowed since mid May.
Haven't mowed the pasture this year.
