I don't see any discoloration and I don't feel anything strange when I pull the lever. I think I'm just going to go with it as is & be aware of any changes. I'm not going to be trying to set any land speed records. One thing that's disappointing is there's no adjustment at the lever on this MC...

Well, it was late & I was pretty tired so maybe I just couldn't figure it out. I'll take another look & post the result.

So can I just flush it out or is it necessary to disassemble & clean the MC?

I might have cleaned it if I'd seen your post before putting it together but now I guess I'll wait & see what happens. What can I expect to happen if there is dirt in there?

So the Nissin MC arrived and the 1 pc. brake line. Had some trouble connecting the line because the ends were not in the right position. I had to twist the line 180 degrees to get it connected but I was able to do that. It wasn't too hard to get the new MC pumping fluid and I filled the caliper...

Yeah, the brake light switch looks funky but I should be able to make it work. My stock mirror broke off & left a piece in the threads so I'd have to drill it out & get another mirror anyway. This MC comes with a lever. I think I might try it.

It's only about $20 and not seeing much else that'd work...

This looks too good to be true. Thinking it's a knockoff... Half inch is about 12.5 mm which should be good...

No luck so far finding a Nissin MC for $20 or less.

I've found a lot of MC on ebay that say they're XT225 but they're new parts and I don't think they're OEM so not sure just what they are. While it looks like 11mm is what most on the forum recommend, the parts don't indicate piston size so I don't know what they are. Also, I'm having trouble...

Oh, Thanks Gary. I'll take a look. It's certainly been distressing with fluid all over the place. Looking at the parts diagram it seems neither the extension or the o-ring are available for replacement.
