im having trouble keeping my valves from making noise. I went .006 on exhaust and .0025 on the intake. .004 was really loud. the bottom of the feet are in good shape, hardly any wear. can i put blue thread locker on the fastening nut? can i go smaller on the exhaust valve?

You are correct. I saw one on the ground and thought it was a knockout from an electrical box. Hopefully I can find them or ill run to the hardware store and get somethin that works. Thank you

I think it was the intake valve clearences. I changed them to .0025 from .004 and retourqed the cylinder head and its all good.

what do i line the protractor up with on the stator bracket? so im prob no off a tooth cause the bike idles really well. it just makes the knocking sound and hesitates as the motor revs.
