Figured I'd chime in since someone told me y'all were talking about my HF engine mount.
Couple things. The stand is made for car motors, I bought it because it was priced well, and I didn't want a motor stand that sits on a workbench that can't be maneuvered around easily. It does utilize the...
I've actually had better luck since, by just using lawn mower in-line filters you can get at the hardware store. I don't know if its because of the ethanol or lack of ethanol that is causing mikes filters to melt but at any rate I wouldn't recommend them. I buy premium for the 650 because the...
hmmm, well I suppose I did take them on and off with a new set of gaskets to mount the exhaust. I think I have another new set lying around somewhere. Its worth a shot! Thanks.

First off don't pull the plug wire off while running because you can damage the coil in the process. Always keep a plug on the end of the wire so it can put out spark. Ask my old coil why I know this.
Second, I had the same issue but the carbs were so horribly synced that one cylinder was not...
Awww she looks good! Brings a tear to my eye,:wink2: I will say this is a great bike for those who might be interested. Shes a strong runner, and JB has probably made it super dependable.
It would make someone a happy rider for sure
FYI there is a thread dedicated to this already... http://www.xs650.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2596
