The original bs38 with all standard jets, I've cleaned them and put them all back together. It runs OK but bogs down a bit if I give it full throttle

I couldn't be bothered to be honest, his mind wasn't for changing...I however remain open minded😀 for this reason I'm going to get one and two jets up on both pilot and mains I think🤔

Oh that sounds promising, despite me saying how hard and expensive getting standard filter parts was he couldn't accept that rejetting was an option. He reckons I'll just be chasing my tail

Called Allen's Performance who are apparently the go to place in the UK for carb jets etc. Chap on the phone told me I'm wasting my time trying to rejet my 650b for foam pod filters and that i need to put it back to stock filters! Literally wasn't happy to sell me the jets I wanted.

Ah so you won the 650b clocks on Ebay, I was tempted to bid on them for the rubber bulb holders and as a spares hoard. Would a tyre valve cap work?

Talking of jetting, do any of my UK forum members know a good place to find new pilot and main jets for my 650b's bs38's?

I'm trying to sort my bs38 carbs on my xs650b but can't open the guides, seems to be unavailable. Can anyone send me a link so that I can read it, read it some more then try to put it into practice. My factory settings with foam pods can be improved on I think.
