I ment one dual output coil. And a buddy of mine borrowed my battery for a bike he bought to screw around with and he said my battery is f***ed, so im going to buy a new one and ill try it. I get mine from Canadian Tire, any certain type of battery you recommend?

Hey, so i installed the pamco ignition module and dualoutput coils exactly as i was told, followed the correct steps and such, have a fully charged battery and thought i was ready to rock n roll, hooked it all back up, turned the key, turned the handlebar switch to run, pressed the start button...

Got the red and green wiring all set up, but 2 quick questions, where is the best place to ground it? And with the alternator, the 3 white wires coming out, does it matter which white wires they connect to on the wire harness? Reason i ask is because ive got 3 white coming off the alternator...

The pic says other end of double grey, does that mean the single grey beside the r/w or does that mean the part of the double grey thats not used by the pamco green?

Ok that makes sence, now, on my harness theres a R/W beside a grey wire and a R/W beside a orange, which do i plug the pamco red into? or doesn't it matter?

Its a 1979 xs650 special, stock wire harness, just installed it new last year, havent done anything to it, no chopping or anything, all the connectors are all there. the kill switch is new to, same as the one that was on it- stock.

Ok, now this may sound like a stupid question but im unsure some im going to ask, i no that all electrical runs in circuits, could you explain to me the curcuit that the electricity follows? Also, on the kill switch, i was told the red/white and brown are the main power, brown will be power...

Will it work if I plug the kill switch coupler into stock wire harness, then splice the coil and ignition module wires together adding bullet connectors to the end and then plug them into coil/points connectors in the wire harness?

Ok. So I can just plug it into the wire harness? How about what I said about the coils and ignition module, am I allowed to splice and connect them and just plug them into the wire harness?

My mistake, that is like mine but mine is black,and it only have 4 wires, red/white, blue/white, brown and black. If i don't have to i really dont want to cut anything that i have, i the 4 wires on my kill switch are all in a coupler that attaches into the wire harness, if i locate the wires...

With a new kill switch that has a 6 wire coupler on it, how do i attach the pamco ignition into the kill switch? After that, how do i go about attaching the pamco ignition into a brand new wire harness that is ment to have the points system wired into it? Are there wires on the stock harness...

if you need to know, my bike is a '79 xs650 special, stock alternator right now and changing out coils and ignition.

that is a very good diagram but i dont see any blinkers in there, could some one maybe explain to me step by step as to through the big one posted?
