I just took out the carbs to clean the idle circuit and I noticed the PO replaced the brass caps over the mix screws with tiny corks. I broke one of them. Are these essential like the rubber pilot tube plug or just a dust cover? Thanks

Good idea I’ll test the fuses tomorrow. Another thing, I only have the rotor torqued to like 15nm, the clutch slips beyond that. Could this be because I have the side cover off? I don’t fully understand how the clutch works, but it engaged fine when I was riding on the highway in December
