    What will be the result of having earlier model brushes on a 1980 xs? I replaced mine but after replacement my main fuse collapsed after turning the key.

    Hi, My bike is standing still for appr. 3 years. Before replacing the oil seal and bushing I was checking the the assembly of the left clutch cover. The pushrod won’t move inwards so the clutch cover doesn’t fit. Question: should the clutch rod be able to move inside/inwards the engine?
