I’ve done the spinning test on all bearings and, aside from a rough cam bearing, all checked ok. Inner crank bearings are easy to inspect just by sliding the races out. Which bearing are you proposing to cut open? Keep in mind that this is a 14k miles engine.

The short story is, I can’t find anything wrong. Crank bearings are fine. Crankshaft runs true on blocks. Camshaft and rockers are fine. Just one of the cam bearings is a bit worn. Piston and rings are in great shape. Transmission gears and bearings are fine. No pieces of metal anywhere...

Yes. No wobble at all. I’m starting to suspect something happened in the top end. It will be off tomorrow.
