I have a 79 650 special pretty much stock everything with BS 38 carbs. I went through the steps to tune the engine a while back. adjust timing chain, check ignition timing, set points, adjust mixture screws on one cylinder at a time, balanced the vacuum. Bike starts great and has run good...
