For your tail light, check out early air cooled RD250/350 parts on EBay etc.. they are the same as the FS1E. Good luck.

Grewth, you’re spot on. I bought the bike because the black 1975 B model was one I wanted. Coming from the US it has no rot issues and this one is really low mileage. But because I like tinkering I just thought it might be easy to bolt on another disk and calliper…. I’m now inclined to leave...

Thanks for all the replies. I will stick with the original single disk and just try to remember I’m riding with 47 year old technology when I squeeze that lever!!

Apologies if this is already covered in the forums - but I’m interested in upgrading my single front disk to twin setup. so.. is the upgrade worth doing, if yes, can someone please point me in the direction for parts, what to look out for etc.. Thanks.

Motion Pro clutch cables are prohibitively expensive here in the UK because of postage charges. I can get one from Yambits or Wemoto but the specs are different (outer cable, inner cable etc…). I “think” my cable is original but can’t be sure. Can someone please provide the Motion Pro specs or...

Sorry - I’m a newbie. Just read the excellent thread from littlebill31 on adjustment of valve clearance. Can someone please advise the size of the square head on the adjuster and suggest a source for a spanner to fit, or options to swap out with a hex head as per his upgrade.Thanks

Thanks! I’ll try and refurb the air filters with some new foam and replace the rubber seals - they are pretty bad.
